"Cat Burglar" Nami (ナミ Nami) is a keen navigator and thief who recognizes and analyzes even the slightest changes in the weather. She is also an excellent pickpocket. Her dream is to draw a complete map of the world. While she met Luffy early on, she did not want to be a pirate. Later on, she became a member of the Straw Hats when Luffy defeated Arlong and his member and freed her from captivity. Throughout the series, Nami fights using a three-sectioned bo staff. Usopp later provides her with a version of this weapon capable of controlling weather, called the Clima Pact or Climate Baton (天候棒（クリマ・タクト） Kurima Takuto). She is voiced by Akemi Okamura. In the 4Kids English adaptation, her name is changed to Nami the "Navigator", and her voice actress is Kerry Williams. In the Funimation English adaptation, her voice is supplied byLuci Christian.
